THE TOWNLAND OF TULLYNAGIN

The townland of Tullynagin is in the parish of Lisnadill in Armagh County. It is labelled number 42 on the map.

The 1826 Schools Commission report describes the school in the townland:

"Tullynagin - A pay school under the care of John and Mary Rogers, of the Roman Catholic denomination, who were in receipt of 20l per annum. The school provided education for 33 scholars."
