Townland: ARMAGHBRAGUE
Traditionally the site of St. Patrick's first church in Armagh, there is now an Eighteenth Century church & graveyard. A natural stone seat on Carrickatuke Mt. is known as St. Patrick's Chair. There is a small well to the SE of the church within a trapezoidal lintelled surround - it has no known holy associations. It is uncertain whether this site has any archaeological significance.
